Water Based Acrylic Sealant Special Characteristics


●Painters caulk has excellent adhesion to most building materials.

●Water clean-up of uncured acrylic caulk.

●Acrylic sealant paintable can be sanded back once fully cured if required to give smooth surface finish.

●Can be painted over using water-based paints.

●Acrylic sealant white is non-toxic. Low VOC.


Water Based Acrylic Sealant Typical application


White paintable caulk is suitable for sealing low movement joints around brick, concrete, plasterboard, windows, doors, ceramictiles and filling of cracks prior to painting. Adheres to glass, wood, aluminum, brick, concrete, plasterboard, ceramic and painted surfaces.


Water Based Acrylic Sealant Storage


Store in the original sealed packaging attemperatures of between 0℃ and 30℃, all purpose caulk is sensitive to frost and must be kept intightly closed packaging. The shelf life is about 18months when stored in a cool and dry place.



Water based acrylic sealant is by far the most commonly used sealant for interior applications, such as general construction expansion joints and general engineering joint filling in non-long-term water-immersion environment waterproof sealing, seal the gaps between indoor walls, skirting lines, door and window trim, crown mouldings, chair rail, and other wood and composite trim, door and window frames and the walls etc. Paintable acrylic sealant fills the gaps, seals out weather, and cleans up very easily with water.
White paintable caulk exhibits good primerless adhesion to concrete, plaster, brick, stone, masonry, uncoated wood. If there is any uncertainty regarding the application, adhesion tests should be carried out.
