Learn what no more nail is, how strong it is, and how to use it correctly. A complete guide to liquid nails and heavy-duty bonding applications.

What Is No More Nails?

No more nails, is also known as liquid nail adhesive and nail-free adhesive. It is a high-tack, multi-purpose construction adhesive for heavy-duty adhesion. As an alternative to traditional nails, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations without the need for tools such as drills, hammers or expansion bolts. There are many advantages for liquid nails: it’ easy to apply, requires no drilling, produces no noise or dust, fills gaps, and allows for position adjustments during installation.

No More Nails vs Silicone Sealant

The construction adhesive is mainly used for bonding and fixing materials, such as mounting mirrors on walls or attaching decorative panels.

In contrast, silicone sealant focuses on sealing and waterproofing, commonly used in window gaps, bathroom fixtures, toilets, and sinks. Mold-resistant silicone sealants are ideal for damp areas like bathrooms and kitchens because they last longer and prevent mold growth.

Common Uses of Liquid Nail Adhesive

Liquid Nails is suitable for both new construction and home renovations. Typical applications include:

  • Door and window frames
  • Staircases and steps
  • Skirting boards and wall trims
  • Gypsum lines and decorative panels
  • Stone and various decorative materials

It can bond to many surfaces, including wood, ceramic, metal, concrete, and stone—both absorbent and non-absorbent materials.

How to Use Liquid Nails

1. Dry Bonding Method

  • Apply Liquid Nails in a zigzag pattern every 20–40 cm.
  • Press the glued surface against the material, then pull it apart to let the adhesive dry for 5 minutes.
  • Press firmly again to secure the bond.

2. Wet Bonding Method

  • Apply Liquid Nails as in the first method.
  • Use clamps, nails, or screws to hold the pieces tightly together.
  • After 24 hours, remove the clamps and let the bond cure for 1–3 days.
  • Once fully set, the installation is complete.

3. Heavy-Duty Bonding Method

  • Press the surfaces together, then separate them for 5 minutes.
  • Reattach and tap firmly into place.
  • Use a support rod if needed for extra stability.

Can Nail Free Adhesive Be Used on Tiles?

Yes, Liquid Nails can bond ceramic tiles. Before application, make sure the wall or tile surface is clean and dry. This ensures stronger adhesion and better curing results.

In summary:

Liquid Nails is a powerful and convenient alternative to traditional nails, ideal for bonding a wide range of building materials quickly and securely—making your construction or home improvement projects cleaner, easier, and more efficient.
