What is acrylic sealant?
Water based acrylic sealant is made by emulsifying acrylic or polyurethane resin through special emulsifying equipment with water as solvent.
What is its purpose?
Acrylic sealants provide protection for a variety of surfaces from dust and insects that may enter through gaps, and their main feature is their ability to remain flexible even after painting.
This makes it critical for seam filling in buildings, because when it cures, it becomes rubber-like in terms of mass, and building joints need to have the ability to move at certain points. In addition,
it is a material that can be overpainted, a fact that makes acrylic sealant ideal for indoor and outdoor decorating.

For "extra flexibility," you can always mix it with silicon, which is less likely to happen with other types of sealants. The mixture of acrylic and silicon will reduce its drying time, but usually this depends on the weather conditions (humidity temperature) of the exact area.

Where should the acrylic sealant be applied?
In addition, it can be applied to different materials indoors and outdoors because it is resistant to humidity and low or high temperatures. These materials can be: wood, concrete, plastic, brick, glass or metal. To be more clear, some examples of areas where acrylic sealants can be used include: door frames, Windows, building joints, and sanitary ware. In addition, acrylic sealant can also be used to seal Scotia joints.
You can usually find it in 300 ml cartridges, and everyone has a unique preference when it comes to decoration, acrylic sealants can meet most people's needs and come in a wide variety of colors to match your personal style. Note: You will need to purchase a latex gun to apply acrylic sealant.
