As we all know, silicone sealant can be divided into acid silicone sealant and neutral silicone sealant. Acid silicone sealant has very good elasticity and adhesiveness. It has a wide range of applications and can be used for most decorations. Bonding between building materials, such as glass, aluminum, wood without oil, etc. But it should be noted that acidic silicone sealants cannot be used to bond alkaline building materials such as ceramics and marble. Otherwise, the substances in the acidic silicone sealant will react with the alkaline substances in the building materials, which will affect the decoration quality of the building materials.

Acidic silicone sealant is a one-component acidic curing sealant. It is easy to use, has good elasticity and bonding performance, can be widely used in different climatic conditions, and has strong resistance to ultraviolet rays, wind and snow, and air pollution. And other natural erosion performance.

1use
One-component silicone glass sealant is ready to use when opened, it is easy to punch out of the glue bottle with a glue gun, and the surface can be trimmed with a spatula or wood chip.
2 stick time
The curing process of silicone sealant is from the surface to the inside. The surface drying time and curing time of silicone sealants with different characteristics are different, so if the surface is to be repaired, it must be carried out before the surface of the silicone sealant is dry.
3 curing time
The curing time of glass sealant increases with the thickness of the bond. In various bonding occasions, including in airtight conditions, the bonding effect should be fully checked after bonding. During the curing process, the acidic silicone sealant will produce a smell due to the volatilization of acetic acid, which will disappear after it is completely cured.
4 bonding
Step 1: Clean and decontaminate the metal and plastic surfaces completely. The rubber surface should be smoothed with sandpaper, and then wiped with acetone.
Step 2: Spread the glass glue evenly on the surface of the prepared object.
Step 3: Put the bonded products at room temperature and wait for the silicone sealant to cure.
5 construction
When acidic silicone sealant is used for construction, follow the above steps to make the glass glue fully contact and bond with the surface.
6 cleaning
Before the acidic silicone sealant is cured, it can be wiped off with a cloth or paper towel, and it must be scraped off with a scraper after curing.
7 Notes
Acidic silicone sealants release an acetic acid odor during curing, so they should be used in a well-ventilated environment and avoid getting in the eyes or prolonged contact with the skin.
Before using the acidic silicone sealant, you must do a compatibility test in advance, keep the construction site ventilated, and ensure that the surface of the construction material is clean and free of oil!
