What are the characteristics of water-swelling polyurethane sealant?

This is a one-component, water-swelling elastomeric sealant. It is based on the prepolymer of polyurethane and contains a special water-swelling unit.

Water expansion performance:
Water-swelling polyurethane sealante: It has the performance of water expansion. When it encounters water, its volume will expand, thereby filling the gap more effectively and achieving better sealing and waterproofing effect. This sealant performs well in waterproofing concrete construction joints and preventing leakage of various embedded components.
Curing characteristics:
Water-swelling polyurethane sealant can be cured in a humid environment, and the curing time is affected by the ambient temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature or the greater the humidity, the shorter the curing time.
Application areas:
●Railway tunnels, road tunnels, urban subways, underground structures of buildings, sewage treatment tanks, etc.
●The construction joints of various underground structures are waterproof.
●The underground structure is watered after the pouring.
●All kinds of pre-buried pipelines, through-wall steel bars, H-beams, pile caps and other waterproof.
●Various types of construction joints or structural cracks are leaked.
