1.Types of Wood Glue

1)Woodworking Glue

Woodworking glue is specially used for bonding all kinds of indoor wood products and furniture; Milky white, can be cleaned with water when not dry, transparent after dry; Non-toxic, non-polluting wood; It can be bonded to various rough wood, cloth, paper, leather and other materials (can not be bonded to MDF board). The edge sealing and coating of building materials need to use woodworking glue. 2)Outdoor Wood Glue

Outdoor wood glue is industrial grade white latex. It can be cleaned with water when it is not dry. After drying, it is translucent, sandable, non-toxic, lacquered and waterproof. Can be bonded MDF board. Heat resistance up to 110℃, specially used for carpentry or factory bonding all kinds of wood products. Suitable for bonding all kinds of soft, hard wood, MDF MDF, fire board, wood and other materials and all kinds of indoor furniture, wood and other bonding work.

2.The Use of Wood Glue

1)Temperature
In different seasons, it is necessary to measure the working environment temperature and wood surface temperature in time. To some extent, the temperature determines the speed of crosslinking reaction. The surface temperature of wood is closely related to the holding time of plywood. Plywood glue in different temperatures, the use of time is different: in the summer, the mixed board can be used for 30 minutes (that is, the faster the use of the better); In winter, the mixed plywood can be used for 60 minutes.

2)Mixing aspect

The main agent and the curing agent should be mixed strictly in accordance with the weight ratio of 100:15, and should be fully stirred. After mixing the plywood, it should be used up within the maneuverable time. Do not mix wood chips, dust and other impurities or add water when mixing. It is forbidden to mix the main agent and curing agent with each other before use, and attention should be paid to sealing after taking the glue.

3)Wood moisture content

After drying the wood through natural moisture, the moisture content should be controlled within 7-12%. When the moisture content of wood is less than 7%, it may cause the wood to be too permeable and cause the adhesive surface to lack of glue leading to cracking. The moisture content of the wood is too high, which will directly lead to poor permeability, difficult to form glue nails, and the cross-linking reflection is not complete, which may cause the phenomenon of opening glue. The critical moisture content difference of wood should be controlled within 3%.

• Wood processing accuracy should be within 0.15mm. The adhesive surface of wood should have no processing defects of "nibbling and finishing". The straight Angle of the wood is good, and the bonding surface of the wood should have no "planing marks, saw marks, carbonization" and other phenomena. Do not use wood whose adhesive surface has been contaminated by grease or dust for bonding.
