Polyurethane plays an important role in the construction field because of its excellent physical and mechanical properties.

1.Polyurethane plastic cement

Polyurethane plastic cement is a new type of polymer synthetic material, which has the characteristics of good elasticity, high strength, wear resistance, low temperature resistance, anti-aging, non-slip, waterproof, strong overall bonding, convenient construction and forming, etc., is a very good indoor pavement and sports ground pavement material.

Polyurethane plastic materials are mainly used in sports track, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, gymnastics room and kindergarten activity venues and other sports facilities. Polyurethane as a paving material, although the cost is very high, but with its excellent performance and good results in the construction industry is increasingly paid attention to.

2.Polyurethane glass sealant 

Sealant is mainly used for cauking,and its use has been throughout the construction,automobile,machine,tol,ship,aircraft and other industries,but 80% is mainly used in the construction industry,and it is growing at a double-digit rate evey year.The sealant used in construction is mainly polysulfied,silicone and polyurethane,of which polyurethane sealant has good adhesion to various building materials and can be applied to various departments in the construction field.And its price is cheaper than silicone and polysulifde sealant,so since the 1990s,the demand for polyurethane sealant has exceeded that of silicone and polysulfide sealant and dominated.

Polyurehane sealant is another solven-free sealant after polysulfide silicone rubber,usually used in the high-rise prefabricated components of the building,it is isocyanate(-NCO) as the main material,and contacining active hydrogen compound curing agent reaction of room temperature curing type polyurethane sealant,divided into one component and two component.

3.Polyurethane waterproofing coating

Polyurethane waterproofing coating is a new waterproof coating that appeared in Europe,America and Japan in the 1960s in order to overcome thr shortcomings of traditional asphalt series waterproof coating and waterproof coil.Due to its excellent overall waterproof effect,stable and reliable performance,convenient construction and maintenance,coupled with its flexible composition adjustment,it is suitable for waterproofing and plugging in different parts of the building.

Polyurethane watreproof coating generally has two components and one component two forms,two-component polyurethane waterproofing coating group A is generally made of polyether polyol and isocyanate polycondensation of terminal isocyanate group(NCO) prepolymer,group B is containing active hydrogen crosslinker viscous liquid,the construction will be mixed evenly according to porportion of group A and B,painted on the waterproof base.Cured at room temperature into elastic film,thus playing a waterproof role.

4.Polyurethane insulation material

In the field of construction,the design of buildings musy consider insulation,improve energy effificency and reduce energy consumption and other issues,rigid polyurethane foam has light weight,low thermal conductivity,good heat resistance,aging resistance,easy to bond with other substrates,combustion does not produce droplets and other excellent properties,known as the best performance of insulation materials in the world.Widely used in building roofs,walls,ceilings,floors,doors and windows etc as thermal insulation materials.

5.Polyurethane road caulking adhesive 

Polyurethane road caulking adhesive is a new type of two-component room temperature curing caulking material,group A is divided into polyisocyanate prepolymer,group B is divided into oligomer polyols and functional additives mixture.Its products have good bonding strength,high strength,good elasticity,anti-aging,good elongation,high solid content,long service life,easy operation and other characteristics,does not contain tar and petroleum resin and asphalt and other harmful solvents,widely used in highway joints,airport apron and runway,bridge deck expansion joints,underground tunnels,reservoir DAMS and other joint construction.

6.Polyurethane grouting material 

Polyurethane grouting material  is a new type of grouting material used in rock and civil engineering, which plays the role of water blocking, seepage prevention and reinforcement. It reacts immediately after encountering water, expands rapidly in volume, and generates a gel that is insoluble in water and has high strength and elasticity. Widely used in underground engineering waterproofing and plugging, building foundation reinforcement, complex formation stabilization, dam foundation reinforcement, tunnel to prevent dripping, broken body reinforcement, underground railway foundation reinforcement, bridge foundation reinforcement and crack reinforcement, mine construction water stop and reinforcement.

Polyurethane grouting materials are water-soluble and oil-soluble, both of which can be waterproof, plugging and strengthening the foundation. Water-soluble polyurethane grouting material has large water capacity and large penetration radius. The consolidated body formed by the oil-soluble polyurethane grouting material has high strength and good permeability resistance, which is suitable for both surface reinforcement and waterproof engineering, and also for the protection of water gushing in the dynamic water layer and the earth surface layer.
