What are the uses of silicone sealant

Silicone sealant is a paste made of polydimethylsiloxane as the main raw material, supplemented by cross-linking agents, fillers, plasticizers, coupling agents, and catalysts mixed under vacuum conditions. It solidifies at room temperature by reacting with water in the air to form elastic silicone rubber.

1. Acidic silicone sealant
● Suitable for sealing, plugging, leakproofing and windproofing, both indoors and outdoors (better indoors), with significant anti-seepage and anti-leakage effects.
● Bonding various interior decorations of automobiles, including: metal, fabrics, organic fabrics and plastics. 3. Joining gaskets on heating and cooling equipment.
● Adding ribs, nameplates and paint-added plastic materials without screw holes on metal surfaces.
● Seal windows on oven doors, flues on gas appliances, pipe joints, and channel doors.
● Provide instant leakproof gaskets for gearboxes, compressors, and pumps.
● Seal ship holds and windows.
● Seal glass windows in trailer and truck cabs.
● Bond and seal equipment parts.
● Suitable for weatherproof sealing of various curtain walls, especially recommended for weatherproof sealing of glass curtain walls, aluminum-plastic panel curtain walls, and stone dry hanging.
● Sealing joints between metal, glass, aluminum, tiles, plexiglass, and coated glass
● Sealing joints on concrete, cement, masonry, rock, marble, steel, wood, anodized aluminum, and painted aluminum surfaces. Primer is not required in most cases.
